Andy is a former member of the elite UK National Hi-Tech Crime Unit and later the Serious Organised Crime Agency.
Andy led the most successful collaborative DDoS investigation in history between a Western nation and Russia. His unprecedented five-year investigation alongside the Russian MVD, or national police resulted in the capture and imprisonment of the three men who were the main leaders of a DDoS and extortion gang.
The Russian investigations was documented in the acclaimed nonfiction book Fatal System Error (2010) written by Joseph Menn.
Prior to joining the UK police Andy spent 12 years in the British Army where he served as a Military Training Instructor, teaching various military based skills.
It was his vast knowledge and expertise in Cyber Crime and Cyber enabled crime that led him to setup AGC Solutions Ltd.
Andy has provided cyber training and presentations at numerous forums throughout the world. To various audiences including the FBI Cyber Task Force, the US Secret Service, the Russian MVD school of Technological Investigation and the Microsoft Botnet Task Force.
